Agrumaria Reggina opens its Taste Innovation Center with a focus on the research and development of successful products for the Food&Beverage world

The Taste Innovation Center will ensure a rapid and effective development of new types of food and beverage for the benefit of Agrumaria’s clients.

Agrumaria Reggina has been involved in citrus processing over the past 35 years in a land – Reggio Calabria, Southern Italy – devoted almost exclusively to citrus fruits’ cultivation. The Italian company is now renowned to produce ingredients for the Food&Beverage and the Flavour&Fragrance worlds. Agrumaria will open its first R&D center in Northern Italy (in the Lombardy Region) so to be closer to its clients, attract excellences in the food world, and be even quicker in offering new products. Such a milestone represents a step forward in the company’s vision—being a beating heart of continuous innovation. The center will be named “Taste Innovation Center” or TIC and will focus mainly on developing new products for the beverage industry.

However, thanks to the Taste Innovation Center in Northern Italy, we will bring our expertise in the Food&Beverage industry to the center of Europe and of the World”.

Starting from May, the new center will be in full operation and will host the new R&D lab together with a development center focused on market analysis.

The new building will be host advanced machinery to develop prototypes in the beverage field—soft drinks, nectars, juice-based beverages, iced tea, aromatic and enhanced waters, spirits, alcohol—and in the food field—baked goods, patisserie, ice creams, spices. The design will bear in mind the strong link between Agrumaria Reggina and the Italian citrus.
