Blood Orange

Blood orange is a citrus fruit characterized by a pulp with a peculiar red color. In Sicily it identifies three varieties (Moro, Tarocco and Sanguinello) with Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) grown in the provinces of Catania, Enna, Ragusa and Siracusa.
