Tailor-made All-in-one Blends
Agrumaria Reggina guarantees the highest quality of our ingredients, thanks to the fruit varieties. Our tailor-made all-in-one blends of juices, flavours, and other ingredients have a perfect taste especially for the genuine raw materials. Our blends give that extra special touch for satisfy also a finer palate.
Juice concentrates are obtained by evaporating water from the fruit juice. The natural and fresh raw materials allow us to process the best fruit immediately after harvest, so they preserve their valuable ingredients, taste and colour. After the citrus juice has been extracted, the pulp and essential oil are separated. The concentrates can be frozen or aseptic.
Agrumaria Reggina offers to its customers a wide range of products suiting to the specific demands of the clients. An example is the organic juice. It is the most natural and healthies juice to give customers a full natural taste with no added substances that can alter the quality and flavour of the product.
NFC Juice is a particular ready to drink juice, also called “Not From Concentrate”. It is produced from selected fruits and has the same freshness as fresh squeezed juice. Thanks to our processing methods NFC juices are pasteurised right after being pressed, so its taste is rich and fresh. Moreover, to ensure the freshness of NFC juice, every stage of the process is customized for each type of fruit.
Emulsions are one of the most important ingredients of fruit drinks and syrups. They give to our product stronger color, aroma, cloudiness and stability, in order to obtain a final product with high consistency, taste and smell. Emulsions we produce are customized according to customer’s specifications and are made in compliance with all European regulations.
Citrus Essential Oils
Citrus Essential Oil is used as a natural aroma in food and beverages that gives flavor to drinks. Agrumaria Reggina produces essential oil from a variety of citrus fruits peels: oranges, lemons, mandarins, clementines. The extraction process is achieved by cold press. They are usually prepared by fragrance extraction techniques, such as distillation, cold pressing, or solvent extraction. Typically, essential oils are highly complex mixtures of several individual aroma compounds.
Orange Pulp Cells
Orange Pulp Cells are produced from citrus that are every day selected and transformed into something unique and a symbol of freshness and quality par excellence. Orange pulp cells can be applied in fruit beverages, food industrial applications, dairy products, bakery, ice creams, soft drinks/drinks, ready meals, jams and syrups. Otherwise they are pasteurized and frozen in order to guarantee its perfect conservation and no contain preservatives or additives. The frozen citrus cells are 100% natural, and are obtained by separating the orange pulp of the freshly squeezed juice of naturally matured orange from the cells.
Citrus Natural Aromas
Citrus Natural Aromas are obtained from natural raw materials. Only physical, enzymatic or micro-biological techniques are used in production, such as squeezing, distilling, heating, filtering and mixing. They are widely used by the industry to improve the organoleptic quality of processed foods and they are natural substances that allow you to “reset” the smells that are lost during storage operations or processing of raw materials.
Citrus Purees are made by straining fruit with sieves. In some cases, the puree is pasteurised to reduce microbiological content and increase product shelf life. The puree is the result of an extraction of fruit that removes any unwanted fibres, skin participles or remaining seeds. Freshly-pureed fruit offers a pure and natural taste.
